For California Residents
Proposition 65 Compliance
Last updated · July 2026
House of Palomino is committed to transparency with our California clients under the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as Proposition 65.
Our Approach
Our jewelry, accessories, and handbags are crafted from thoughtfully selected materials — including sterling silver, 24k gold vermeil, stainless steel, Italian leather, ethically sourced horsehair, feathers, and fine lace. We work with our suppliers and ateliers to source components that meet or exceed applicable safety standards.
At this time, based on the materials and components used across our collections, we do not believe our pieces require a Proposition 65 warning. Where a specific item or component is determined to require notice under California law, the appropriate warning will be displayed on that product's page and at the point of purchase.
About Proposition 65
Proposition 65 requires California businesses to provide warnings about significant exposures to chemicals identified by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. These chemicals appear in a wide range of everyday products, and the presence of a warning does not mean a product is unsafe or violates any product-safety standard — only that the seller is providing notice California law may require.
